Who we are

Envello is an Egyptian website for designing online invitations. For any question about your data, email hello@envello.johns-haus.com.

What we collect from hosts

The email you sign in with, the invitation content you write, and the photos and songs you upload.

When you pay: the sender's name or number, the transaction reference, and the transfer screenshot if you send one. Screenshots are stored privately and only we can see them.

What we collect from guests

Only what a guest types into the RSVP form: name, number of guests, a mobile number if the host asks for one, and a message.

A one-way hash of the IP address to stop spam, never the address itself.

A random cookie that counts the phones that opened a draft (the 10-phone limit).

The photo frame runs entirely on the guest's phone. The photo is never uploaded or stored by us.

Why we use it

To run the service, verify payments, send sign-in and order emails, and prevent abuse. We never sell your data and we use no advertising trackers.

Who sees it

Hosts see their own guests' replies. Service providers run parts of the service for us: Supabase (database and storage), Vercel (hosting) and Resend (email). No one else.

How long we keep it

Invitation pages close 90 days after the last event unless you buy "Keep it online forever". Account data stays while your account exists.

If you ask us to delete your data, we do so within 30 days, except payment records the law requires us to keep.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or object to its use, under Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020. Email hello@envello.johns-haus.com.

Cookies

We use essential cookies only: your sign-in session, the draft phone counter, and moving drafts into your account. No advertising cookies.

Changes

If we change this policy we update the date above, and we email you about significant changes.
